Scope: Excavation, steel fixing, concreting, block laying, core fill, breeze blocks, block cleaning, and full supply.
Overview:
Phil and Tanya’s South Coast project, now known as The Coolangatta Breeze Blocks, is one of our biggest showcases — and for good reason. After dreaming of a fresh new entryway for more than five years, they were ready to swap their tired timber fencing for something timeless with a touch of Palm Springs flair.
We worked closely with them every step of the way, combining their vision with our expertise to create an entrance that’s both stylish and functional. The design balances clean geometry with practical features, offering privacy and noise reduction from the nearby road while looking effortlessly architectural.
Of course, no great project comes without a few challenges — in this case, a factory malfunction not once but twice. With Christmas looming and a deadline to meet, we hit the phones (and the road) to source matching blocks all the way from Sydney. The effort was worth it. Seeing Phil and Tanya’s reaction, and their three dogs finally racing around their new space, made it all the more rewarding.
This job is a clear top four for us — picture-perfect, practical, and packed with personality.
